Law Clerk

Sierra Rich is a law clerk at the Birth Injury Alliance and a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Her interests include public-interest law, civil rights, human rights, and advocacy for individuals navigating complex legal and social-service systems.

Before attending law school, Sierra worked as a case manager with Rochester SAFE Court, a human-trafficking intervention court, where she provided trauma-informed support and connected participants with treatment, housing, education, employment, and other community resources. She holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and African American Studies from SUNY Brockport. Her education and professional experience have shaped her commitment to service, advocacy, and improving access to justice.
